Author Daman Singh, the daughter of former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, reached the Panjab University ahead of the inauguration of the memorial plaque honouring her father at the campus.

Daman will deliver the PU Colloquium lecture titled “Dr Manmohan Singh: The Quintessential Scholar” on Friday at the varsity auditorium. The event will also mark the renaming of Arts Block 3 as Dr Manmohan Singh Hall.

Daman visited the Gandhi Bhawan and the Museum of Fine Arts, where they appreciated the ongoing exhibition of wooden murals by Sureel Kumar. Later, they visited the AC Joshi Library and the Department of Zoology’s museum. She then recorded a brief segment at the Panjab University’s community radio station, followed by a visit to the Student Centre (StuC).
