‘Fearful Future’, a short film produced by the Post Graduate Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Goswami Ganesh Dutta Sanatan Dharma College, Sector 32, Chandigarh, has been given the Special Festival Mention Award at the 13th Delhi Shorts International Film Festival 2024, New Delhi. The short film was chosen among 246 entries across India and abroad.

College principal Ajay Sharma congratulated the winning team and called the prestigious recognition a testament to the hard work of students and faculty.

Priya Chadha, HoD and director of the documentary, stated, “The documentary was given official selection in the first round and special festival mention in the final round. The film presents a stark vision of a world ravaged by environment degradation, emphasising the dangers of unchecked pollution, deforestation and resource depletion.”
