Mayor inaugurates development works worth Rs 5.6 crore in Panchkula

The total cost of these projects amounts to over Rs 5.6 crore.
Speaking at a programme organised at the community centre in Mattanwala village, the Mayor said his tenure has now spanned nearly four and a half years, during which no effort was spared in ensuring the development of both urban and rural areas of Panchkula.
He further added that development projects worth more than Rs 300 crore have already been completed within the Municipal Corporation area, while several others are currently in progress.
Goyal emphasised that his priority has always been balanced and holistic development of the city and its villages. He expressed gratitude to officials and local residents for their cooperation and enabling the successful execution of these projects. He expressed confidence that the pace of development would continue and that Panchkula would emerge as a model district of the state.
The event was attended by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) District President Ajay Mittal, Vice-President Tejendra Gupta Tony, councillors Paramjit Kaur, Sonia Sood, Salim Khan, Satveer Chaudhary, Akshaydeep Chaudhary, Sandeep Singh, Jasveer Goyat and Jaswant Singh, along with local residents.
