Mayor Ravi Kant Sharma today inaugurated a civil dispensary at Sector 39-D.

MC Commissioner Anindita Mitra, area councillor Gurbax Rawat and other councillors and prominent persons of the area were present on the occasion.

The Mayor said the dispensary, with 686 sq m covered area, was built at a cost of Rs2.63 crore.

Ravi Kant also opened a renovated community centre at Sector 39. Having 1,050 sq m built-up area, the community centre now has a soundproof hall, rooms for bride and bridegroom, kitchen, a senior citizen meeting hall etc. The renovation work cost the civic body Rs39 lakh.

The Mayor also inaugurated ‘apni mandi’ and day market sites near EWS Colony, Maloya. The Mayor instructed the officials concerned to deploy an enforcement inspector to ensure rules were not violated at the sites.
