MC conducts anti-encroachment drive in Sector 26

42 challans issued for violations of the municipal norms

The Municipal Corporation, (MC) Chandigarh, in coordination with the Police Department and the marketing committee, conducted an anti-encroachment drive today at the Sabji Mandi in Sector 26.

Following directions of MC Commissioner Amit Kumar, the enforcement team actively cleared unauthorised structures and obstructions, including rehris, wooden planks, plastic crates and balance tables. During the drive, 42 challans were issued for violations of the municipal norms.
