The medal winners of the recently concluded 38th Uttarakhand National Games were felicitated today by the Chandigarh Olympic Association (COA) in association with the Chandigarh Sports Council at the Sector 42 conference hall of the hockey stadium.

Chandigarh finished 21st among 33 states that participated in the games. The COA had fielded a strong 230-member contingent for the games. The city bagged a total of 19 medals, including four gold, six silver and nine bronze. Anshul Punia (51kg), Pranshu Rathore (75kg), Nitish Kumar (80kg), Manu Nimavat (66kg) and Ritika (ranking system in 50kg) all boxers, along with members of the silver medal winning kabaddi team were felicitated.
