The Meteorological Department has issued a light rain forecast for the next three days.

According to the department, the temperature is expected to fall and provide some relief to people from the hot conditions prevailing in the city for the past few days.

The city today recorded the maximum temperature at 35.8°C, which is three degrees above normal, and the minimum at 28.3°C, which is five degrees above normal.

The maximum temperature is expected to fall by three or five degrees while the minimum temperature is likely to drop by two degrees. — TNS
