Nirmal Milkha Singh, wife of legendary athlete Milkha Singh and former India women’s volleyball team captain, who is being treated for Covid-19 at a private hospital in Mohali is “recovering in right direction”.

“Nirmal Milkha Singh is doing better with reducing oxygen requirement,” read a medical bulletin issued by the hospital today. Milkha Singh, who was recently discharged from hospital, is also responding well to the treatment, informed family members. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
