Haryana minister unveils road projects in Kalka segment

Haryana Public Works Department (Buildings and Roads) Minister Banwari Lal today laid the foundation stone of road projects and inaugurated various development works in Kalka.
The minister inaugurated 11 roads of 71.24 km length built at a cost of Rs 53.47 crore during a programme organised at the Block Development and Panchayat Office in Kalka. He also laid the foundation stone of 19 roads of 47.63 km length, which will be constructed at a cost of Rs 26.02 crore. He laid the foundation stone of construction work of four tubewells at Pattal, Ganeshpur Bhoria, Nala Jabrot and Damdama villages.
He said with the launch of these projects, the people of Kalka Assembly segment would get better road connectivity and supply of clean drinking water.
Former Kalka MLA Latika Sharma said the launch of various road projects would provide better transportation facilities to the residents of Kalka, Pinjore and Raipur Rani. She said the construction of new tubewells would ensure uninterrupted drinking water supply to Pattal, Ganeshpur Bhoria, Nala Jabrot and Damdama villages.
