Retired Judge RK Kashyap (73), who was a resident of Sector 27, Panchkula, was found dead near Shahabad, Kurukshetra, today.

According to his family, the former sessions judge had gone for his usual morning walk at the herbal park in Sector 26 on Thursday but did not return home. His son Nipun Kashyap had filed a missing person report at the Chandimandir police station.

Despite an extensive search by the police, there was no trace of him until his body was found on the railway tracks near Shahabad this morning.

The family is in a state of shock, struggling to understand the circumstances behind his death. The authorities concerned are investigating the matter.
