The 1-km-long and 11-foot-wide outer road (phirni) will cost Rs 28 lakh. Strong paver blocks/interlocking tiles, having a thickness of 60 mm, will be laid on the road under construction, and the work will be completed within two months, he said.

The MLA urged the panchayats to not compromise with the quality and specifications of the material being used in various development works.

Sarpanch Gurjinder Singh and other members of the panchayat, including Jasvir Kaur, Surjan Singh, Harinder Singh, and Gurpreet Singh, were present on the occasion.
