Chandigarh: An unidentified person snatched a mobile phone at Kaimbwala village. Complainant Rakesh Kumar reported that the incident took place near Sandhu Farm. The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation.

One arrested for robbery

Chandigarh: Three persons robbed a Mauli Jagran resident near Kalagram light point. One of the accused was caught by the victim. Complainant Vijay Singh reported that Happy, Bablu and Gaurav, robbed him of cash, mobile phone and documents. Vijay resisted and managed to nab Happy while the two other suspects fled the spot. The accused was handed over to the police.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
