Mobile phones snatched

Chandigarh: Three Activa-borne miscreants snatched two mobile phones from a man in Mani Majra. The complainant, Johnson of Bapu Dham Colony, Sector 26, reported that the miscreants snatched his mobile phones near Shivalik Garden. A case was registered. TNS

Myraa claims gold medal

Chandigarh: Myraa Khattar claimed a gold medal in the age group of 8 to 10 years on the concluding day of the 37th Chandigarh State Yogasana Sports Championship. Golf tourney by Alumni Assn

Chandigarh: The Alumni Association of the Post Graduate Government College for Men, Sector 11, organised a golf tournament at Forest Hill Golf and Country Club on Sunday. Col KS Kondal emerged as winner of the tournament, while Major (retd) RS Virk claimed the second position. Rajiv Malhotra was declared the winner for shooting maximum birdies and Major General JS Sandhu (AVSM) won the event for marking maximum pars. TNS
