The police arrested a 19-year-old youth within five hours after a snatching incident was reported near the Sector 29 roundabout on Wednesday evening. The accused, Surya Mani of Ramdarbar, who was on a bike, allegedly snatched a phone from a woman waiting for a bus after work.

A team from the Sector 31 police station arrested him and recovering the stolen phone. He was booked under relevant sections of the BNS and was produced before court

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
