The drill aimed to evaluate the preparedness of the Chandigarh Police counter teams and other emergency services of the Chandigarh Administration. During the operation, the hotel premises were swiftly cordoned off and evacuated by commandos from the Operations Cell. A joint search was then undertaken by the house intervention teams, bomb detection and dog squads.
The exercise saw the active participation of various emergency teams, including quick reaction teams, PCR vehicles, ambulances from GMSH-16 and the police hospital in Sector 26, fire brigade, civil defence, mobile forensic team, Crime Branch, CID and the local police of Industrial Area.
