Mohali allows staging of Ramlila

The administration today allowed the staging of Ramlila in the district.

Deputy Commissioner Girish Dayalan said the organisers would have to take permission of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) concerned for Ramlila in open spaces.

He said adhering to safety protocols, provision of thermal scanning and use of hand wash or sanitisers would be mandatory. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
