Shalby Hospital has introduced rezum therapy, becoming the first in North India to offer this advanced treatment. Rezum therapy is gaining attention for its effectiveness and patient-focused approach. Priced at approximately Rs 2.5 lakh, it is an alternative to transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP). While both procedures aim to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), rezum therapy offers faster recovery and a reduced risk of side effects. According to Dr Priyadarshi Ranjan, rezum therapy has a success rate of over 80 per cent.
