MLA Kulwant Singh today accused GMADA of not processing public works related to his area. He said he would soon meet Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann in this regard.
Rainwater disposal and waterlogging in villages were major concerns here and these were not being addressed properly, he said. “Officials unnecessary harassing residents will be dealt with strictly,” he said in reply to a media query.
The MLA was in Kambali village for an ‘Aap di Sarkar, Aap de Dwar’ facilitation camp. The biweekly camp, held on Tuesday and Friday in the district, was organised at Kambali to resolve government services-related issues of the residents of Kambala, Chilla, Paapdi and four nearby villages. Garbage disposal, sewage and bad condition of roads are among problems faced by the villagers.
The area in the Mohali Assembly segment is a stronghold of Kulwant Singh.
