Mohali reported 14 fresh COVID-19 cases on Sunday, taking the district’s tally to 302.

Mohali’s death toll stands at five. 

Of the 14 cases, a 57-year-old woman from Lalru—who showed Influenza-like illness (ILI) symptoms—a 26-year-old male from Derabassi, a 32-year-old female, 40-year-old male, 28-year-old female, 51-year-old male, 24-year-old male, 45-year-old female, 17-year-old female, 14-year-old female, 18-year-old female, 27-year-old male, and a 17-year-old male from Behda, and a 36-year-old female from Phase 4, Mohali, tested COVID-19 positive.

On Saturday, a 68-year-old woman from Zirakpur died of Covid-19 at Gian Sagar Hospital in Banur here.

The woman had returned to her house from Yamunanagar in Haryana on June 2. She was admitted to the COVID care centre at Gian Sagar Hospital on June 13 after she tested positive for coronavirus. The woman was also suffering from arthritis.

Meanwhile, with 13 fresh COVID-19 cases from Behda, the village has over 30 infections now. 

Over 218 have been cured of the deadly disease. The district’s active cases stand at 79.
