Mohali reported three more deaths in the last 24 hours, district officials said—a development that takes the district’s fatality count to 245.

The district also reported 71 new cases, taking the district count to 12,730.

Sixty-two new cases came from Mohali Urban. Dera Bassi (4), Kharar (1), Kurali (1) and Lalru (3) all reported new cases.

The district now has 609 active cases.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
