Mohali reports four coronavirus deaths, 40 new cases

Mohali reported four deaths and 40 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, officials from the district administration said on Sunday.

Mohali Urban reported 27 of the 40 new cases. Banur (1), Dera Bassi (5), Gharuan (3) and Kharar (4) made up the rest of Sunday’s numbers.

The development takes the district tally to 11,753, with 222 deaths. Mohali now has 748 active cases.

Ninety-eight people were released after recovery, officials said.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
