Four unidentified youths smashed the windowpanes of a Sector 88 resident's car near Apoorva Apartments during the wee hours of Friday.

According to the police, the victims Gagandeep Singh and Amarinder, were headed towards Apoorva Apartments in their Range Rover when four unidentified youths signalled them to stop the vehicle around 12:30 am. The driver, Gagandeep, took a U-turn and tried to flee but the unidentified youths hit the vehicle with baseball bats and chased the duo till the parking of Hero Homes.

Sohana staiton house officer Simran Singh said it appears to be a case of mistaken identity. The police are investigating the matter.
