Mohali: Seven deaths and 605 new Covid-19 cases were reported from the district on Friday. As many as 309 patients were cured in the past 24 hours. Among the new cases, 252 were reported from Mohali (urban), eight from Lalru, 207 from Dhakoli, 79 from Kharar, 18 from Dera Bassi, 20 from Boothgarh, 14 from Gharuan, three from Kurali and four from Banur. The district has seen 34,449 cases so far, while 28,440 patients have been cured. The active case tally now stands at 5,515. With five more deaths, the toll has reached 494. — TNS
