Mohammad Talib captured the top position in the overall cumulative ranking after the fourth round with 211 points (round-wise 57 51 50 53) followed by Mohammad Hassan who finished with 214 points (round-wise 53 52 53 56) in the First Chandigarh Online Carrom Tournament. Gagandeep secured third (229 points) position while Gopal Kakkar (299 points) stood at fourth position.

Gagandeep snatched the top position from Mohammad Hassan in the fourth round to stay at the top in league. Gagan finished his last match in the round robin with 45 missed points to thrash Mohammad

Talib and Mohammad Hassan to second and third place in the 4th round league.

Nidhi Gupta retained the top spot in the overall cumulative ranking after the conclusion of the fourth round match with 174 points (round-wise 39 53 45 37) followed by Tuba Sehar 202 points (round-wise 61 43 54 44). Sanya Chadha secured third (271 points) position while Sangini Mamgain (405 points) stood at fourth position.

Nidhi continued with her best form in the fourth round also. She scored the first white slam in the eight board of the last (4th) round to gain five credit scores. Nidhi finished with 37 points (42 – 5 {for white slam} = 37).

Tuba Sehar also scored the second white slam of the tournament in the fourth board of her fourth round match to gain 5 credit points. Tuba finished her match with 44 points (49 – 5 {for white slam}= 44) to stand at second place in the 4th round. In today’s women’s semifinal (knockout), Sanya Chadha (3rd rank) will take on Sangini Mamgain (4th Rank) in the first semis while Tuba Sehar (2nd Rank) will play against the winner of the first semifinal.

In the men’s semifinals, Gagandeep will play against Gopal Kakkar (4th Rank) while Mohammad Hassan (2nd Rank) will play against the winner of the first semifinal.
