On a call given by UT Adviser Dharam Pal, three more departments have sought suggestions from the general public to simplify cumbersome procedures.

To provide hassle-free services to residents of the city, the Labour Department has sought suggestions, comments with regard to minimise or reduce the regulatory compliance burden through email at alc.lc30@gmail.com. The suggestions can also be sent by post by at The Assistant Labour Commissioner, Labour Department, Sector 30-B, by July 31.

Similarly, the Department of Industries has also decided to take steps for minimising the requirement of physical touch points with industrialists or investors and providing easy online services to them. It has sought suggestions at dimsmeutchd@gmail.com. and by post at Director Industries, Plot no. 39, Industrial Area Phase-II, by July 31.

In order to further make the citizens interfaces simple, transparent and time bound, the Engineering Department also sought suggestions through email at eewneengd@chd.nic.in The suggestions can also be sent by post by July 31 at the office of Chief Engineer-cum-Special Secretary (Engineering), UT, Secretariat, Sector 9-D, Chandigarh. — TNS
