Even as the airport authorities are yet to announce the winter schedule, airlines have started taking bookings for flights to be operated from Chandigarh International Airport beginning October 15.

According to the information, six domestic flights by GoAir will be operational from October 26.GoAir’s Chandigarh-Hyderabad flight will be operational from October 27. It will take off from Hyderabad at 9.05 am and reach Chandigarh at 11.30 am. The same aircraft will take off from Chandigarh at 12.05 and reach Hyderabad at 14.30 pm. Indigo will start its Goa flight from November 3.

The spokesperson for the airport said they would soon issue the winter schedule. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
