The 12-member expedition was flagged off on its next leg to New Delhi from the BSF campus at Lakhnaur near Mohali by PV Rama Sastry, Additional Director General, Western Command, today.

The team, led by Commandant Surender Singh, had been flagged off from the National Police Memorial, New Delhi, on April 7 and arrived here yesterday after traversing through Hisar, Abohar, Amritsar and Jammu.

The expedition aims at motivating the differently abled by conveying that physical disability should not deter one’s spirit for adventure. —
