Tabla exponent Amitava Sen from Kolkata and Bhopal-based classical vocalist Sulekha Bhatt performed during the monthly ‘Baithak’ programme organised by the Pracheen Kala Kendra at ML Koser Indoor Auditorium here today.

The artistes kept the audience enthralled by their musical skills. Bhatt took the centre stage to present melodic recital of ‘raga Nand’ followed by medium-paced ‘Rupak taal’ composition, ‘Dhundhun baare sayian’. She concluded her recital with a ‘bhajan’, ‘Guru ji main ek niranjan’. Earlier, Amitava Sen gave a thrilling performance. Dr Shobha Koser, Prof Yashpal and Guru Sushil Jain, along with Kendra Secretary Sajal Koser, honoured the artistes. — OC
