Muskaan Khan reached into the next round of the girls U-19 category by defeating Yutika Chavan 21-10, 24-26, 21-14 in the Yonex-Sunrise 31st Smt Krishna Khaitan All-India Junior (U-19) Ranking Badminton Tournament being held at Tau Devi Stadium, Sector 3.

Anushka Juyal of Uttarakhand ousted Haryana’s Ruchi Chahal 12-21, 21-10, 21-14 and Aishani Tiwari of Gujarat beat Karnataka’s Tanika Mohan 21-14, 21-9.

Keerthy Manchala of Telangana defeated Lavanya Karki 21-12, 21-10, while Zainab Saeed beat Anvitha Vijay 21-17, 13-21, 21-9.

Tanvi Reddy Andluri of Telangana ousted Suhasi Verma 21-13, 21-17 and Karnataka’s Suhina Roy defeated tough challenger Parul Choudhary 21-16, 13-21, 21-19.

Delhi’s Ishita Negi overpowered Riddhi Bhardwaj 22-20, 21-13 and Aadhira Rajkumar outplayed Aadhya Jain 21-17, 19-21, 21-13. Second seed Haryana’s Medhavi Nagar defeated Ridhima Saini 21-5, 21-12.

In the boys’ U-19 category, Pranav Ram N defeated Deepanshu 21-15, 21-15 and Nagesh Chamle ousted Aanayan Borah 21-11, 21-7.

Abhinav Garg recorded a comeback win over Navneeth Mankenapalli 14-21, 21-6, 21-19 and Dev Kumawat defeated Ishaan Sihag 21-13, 22-20.

Ginpaul S also marched ahead by defeating Dev Ruparelia 19-21, 21-14, 21-15 and Divyansh Rawat ousted Prabhas Kumar Kushwaha 25-23, 21-15. Suryaksh Rawat was leading 21-6, 17-11 when Satvik Shankar conceded the match.
