A Muslim minor boy was targeted after offering Friday prayers at a mosque in an alleged incident of hate crime. According to the complaint lodged at the IT Park Police Station, a Hindu youth asked the boy to chant “Jai Shri Ram”. When the boy refused, he was allegedly assaulted. A video of the incident has since been circulated on social media.

The fathers of the boys met and resolved the issue amicably. They appealed to the public to maintain peace.
