Flying Officer Pranay Prashant, who was a cadet with No. 1 Chandigarh NCC Air Squadron has been commissioned into the Flying Branch of the Indian Air Force.

He passed out from the Air Force Academy, Dundigal, near Hyderabad on Saturday and was awarded his brevets by Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhaduria during the Combined Graduation Parade.

Pranay’s parents — Babulal Yadav and Rakesh Yadav, both teachers in government schools, have expressed pride and happiness in their son donning the Air Force blues. The family hails Mahendragarh in Haryana.
