New officers given power to process registrations in Fatehgarh Sahib

The failure of registration work at the offices concerned despite people taking the appointments was brought to the DC's attention

New officers have been given the powers for registration to clear the backlog of work, Deputy Commissioner Dr Sona Thind said.

In an order issued under section 12 of the Punjab Registration Act 1908 today, it was stated that the failure of registration work at the offices concerned despite people taking the appointments was brought to her attention, which prompted the action.

According to the notification Sukhwinder Singh Office Kanungo Bassi Pathana will do the registration work at Sub-Registrar Office Fatehgarh Sahib, Harveer Kaur, the Bassi Pathana Sub-Divisional Magistrate, would do the work at Bassi Pathana, Manreet Rana, Khamano Sub-Divisional Magistrate, at Khamano Tehsil, Gurdarshan Singh Field Kanungo Amloh at Mandi Gobindgarh and Chetan Bangar, the Amloh Sub-Divisional Magistrate, at Amloh office with immediate effect.
