It was a comeback win for Chandigarh lads, as Punjab had posted 317 in their first innings, and Chandigarh lads replied with 152. In the second innings, Chandigarh batters performed better and scored 308 to set 143-run target for the hosts.

Resuming from overnight 30/2, the Punjab batters failed to save the fall of wickets.
