The UT Estate Office has failed to attract buyers for its leasehold commercial properties in the city.

The Estate Office had invited bids for two nursing homes sites and 10 booths and today was the last day to submit bids. However, not a single bid was received for these properties. It was the third auction for the 10 booths located in Dhanas since February, while this time the reserve price of each shop in the auction was also reduced by about Rs 16 lakh each. But even then, no buyer could be found for these.

One site each for nursing homes was put up for sale in Sector 46 and Sector 51. But these being on leasehold, due to which no bid was made for these. The reserve price for the Sector 46 site was fixed at Rs 13.62 crore, while for the Sector 51 site, it was fixed at Rs 18.72 crore.
