No fresh fatality, 94 new cases in Panchkula district

The district today reported no new fatality due to Covid and 94 fresh cases. Civil Surgeon Dr Jasjit Kaur said four cases each were reported from Raipur Rani and Sector 4, five each from Amrawati Enclave, Kalka, Sector 2 and 20 and 18 from Pinjore.

The district tally stands at 30,059 with 28,972 recoveries. There are 738 active cases with 349 deaths.

A total of 1,066 persons were vaccinated against Covid in the district today and 132 of them got their second dose. A total of 662 persons in the 18-44 group and 280 in the 45-59 age group got the jab. Besides, 105 persons above 60 years of age were inoculated. — TNS
