“These new facilities will further bolster the hospital’s ability to serve patients with the most advanced medical technologies available,” said secretary of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) Dr Ajit Kumar Mohanty, after inaugurating a series of state-of-the-art facilities aimed at enhancing patient care and diagnostic capabilities at the hospital.

“The CT scan service will enhance our diagnostic capabilities, while the OT complex and nuclear imaging department will allow us to offer more precise and effective treatment options to our patients,” DAE secretary Dr Mohanty added.

“These new facilities will help us enhance our ability to deliver precise and effective cancer care significantly. Our goal has always been to offer our patients the best possible treatment options and these developments bring us closer to that vision,” HBCH&RC Director Dr Ashish Gulia said.

The hospital is a leading institution in cancer treatment and research in the region and has been at the forefront of providing high-quality and affordable care to patients. Director of Tata Memorial Centre Dr Sudeep Gupta and former TMC director Padma Shri Dr RA Badwe were also present on the occasion.
