Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Nisha Yadav today chaired the government-directed Samadhan Shivir (Grievance Redressal Camp) held at the Mini Secretariat’s auditorium, where she instructed the Executive Engineer (XEN) of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) to investigate and submit a report on the complaint lodged by a resident of Batau? regarding an erroneous electricity bill.

Highlighting the fact that there were 129 reopened complaints, Yadav said the departments must ensure they are promptly addressed so that the public does not have to make repeated visits for the same issue.

Addressing officials from various departments during the meeting, she directed that all complaints pending for over 30 days must be resolved at the departmental level without further delay.

The ADC said the core objective of organising the Samadhan Shivirs was to ensure timely resolution of public grievances. She added that Chief Minister Nayab Saini was personally monitoring the issues being raised in these camps.

With an aim to make grievance redressal more accessible, the district administration is organising Samadhan Shivirs every Monday and Thursday from 10 am to 12 pm at the Deputy Commissioner’s office.
