The city reported 67 new cases of Covid-19 on Saturday, raising the total number of infections to 14,418.

A 39-year-old man from Sector 46 died at a private hospital in Mohali taking the UT Covid toll to 226.

Meanwhile, 82 more patients reportedly recovered from the disease. So far, 13,551 city residents have defeated the deadly virus. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
