Mohali: One more person succumbed to Covid-19 in the district during the past 24 hours, taking the death toll to 1,047. Nineteen fresh cases surfaced in the district, taking the case tally to 68,212 while 28 patients recovered from the virus. Of the 68,212 positive cases reported so far, 66,895 patients have been cured. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
