Harjeet Singh Sandhu, Secretary, STA, stated that except Ola and Uber, no other cabs had got themselves registered with the STA and had obtained licence for plying their cabs in the UT.

Sandhu further said the owners of cabs, who had attached their vehicles with such companies, were advised to detach from them, failing which the sole responsibility regarding challaning or impounding would rest upon the owner of the cab.

He also advised the general public not to travel in such cabs in order to avoid any mishap or incident in the future.
