Sri Sathya Sai Gramin Jagriti will set up a 50-bed Covid care hospital at the Sports Complex of Government Senior Secondary School, Sector 8.

Amar Vivek Aggarwal, one of the functionaries of the body, said hospital was expected to be opened from Tuesday. The centre will have CCTVs for monitoring patients, WiFi, intercoms and public address system for keeping patients in a happy atmosphere. Recreational activities such as yoga will also be organised for them.

Bharat B Gupta, Satish Garg and Rohina Khullar, spokespersons for the organisation, said patients would be provided a kit containing essential items, including toiletries, free of cost. The organisation has made arrangements for oxygen cylinders, oximeters, essential medical equipment and supplies, and is expected to receive a few oxygen concentrators.
