A milk consumer awareness camp was organised by the Punjab Dairy Development Board in Phase 4 under the leadership of Deputy Director (Dairy) Gurinderpal Singh Kahlon.

Milk samples were brought by 39 consumers at the camp.

The results of the test were given in writing on the spot. Dairy development inspector Mandeep Singh said 35 samples were found up to the standard, while four samples were found to contain water, but no other harmful substance was found.

He said the milk samples contained urea, caustic soda and starch.
