Taking another step towards e-governance, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today launched ‘paperless billing through SMS’ for Panchkula district.

The system was launched for water bill generation in Panchkula after the 54th meeting of the Water Supply and Sewerage Board held under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister here today. Within a month, the system will be started across the state.

With the new system, about 33,000 consumers can pay their water bills digitally.
