An FIR has been registered for damaging an iron sheet at the Mata Mansa Devi temple entry point.

Sharda, secretary, Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board, in a complaint, said the metal work through a contractor was underway on the temple premises.

“On Tuesday morning, some slum dwellers living nearby the temple damaged the iron sheet being installed on the road leading to the temple,” the FIR reads, quoting the complainant.

The police registered a case against unidentified persons at the MDC police station under Section 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of a common intention) of the IPC and Section 3 of the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act.
