Concerned over the complaints of overcharging by private hospitals for Covid treatment, the administration has constituted a nine-member committee to check the bills. Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Kumar Ahuja said it had been constituted as per the instructions of the Additional Chief Secretary, Health.

Ahuja said the committee included ADC Mohammad Imran Raza, DETC Sales Sanjeev Rathi, IMA president Rajiv Arya or his nominated representative, Deputy Civil Surgeon Rajiv Narwal, SMO Anjela Dhingra, SDS Shivani Hudda, RMO Archana Aggarwal, AO Zila Parishad Narender Kandola and volunteer BB Singhal. — TNS
