Panjab University has extended the last date for submission of examination forms of all undergraduate and postgraduate courses the under semester system (2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th & l0th semesters) and all certificate, diploma and advance diploma courses (regular and re-appear) semester/annual system (if any) session 2021 examinations to be held in June/July, 2021 (without and with late fee) up to May 25. As per the revised schedule for submission of examination forms (with and without late fee), a student can submit his form without late fee till May 25, with a late fee of Rs2,075 till June 6, with A late fee of Rs 6,075 till June 8, with A late fee of Rs11,075 till June 15 and with A late fee of Rs22,075 till June 21. Students can also visit the University website www.puchd.ac.in for information.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
