Panjab University not to allow outsiders from Gate No. 3
Chandigarh, June 17
Keeping in view security measures on the Panjab University campus and a communication received from the office of SSP, Security and Traffic, UT, a meeting was convened.
It has been recommended that from June 20, no outsider may be allowed to enter the PU campus from Gate No. 3. The entry may be restricted only to the PU faculty/staff/students holding stickers/passes issued by the competent authorities.
Further, it has been recommended that outsiders may be allowed entry from Gate No. 1 and 2 after verification and entering their personal details in a register. The outsiders may be required to deposit their RC/driving licence at the entrance.
