PETA India honours Chandigarh’s Vishnu Kaushal with ‘Compassionate Young Entrepreneurs Award’

Chandigarh-based actor and influencer Vishnu Kaushal has been recognised as one of the five young entrepreneurs at PETA India’s second edition of the “Compassionate Young Entrepreneur Award”. Kaushal, 27, was honoured for his advocacy of animal welfare through his ventures in the vegan space, including his clothing brand, Peach by Vishnu.

Peach by Vishnu offers stylish, vegan-friendly products such as t-shirts, cargo pants, hoodies, and cloth bags, furthering Kaushal’s commitment to cruelty-free fashion. As a content creator, Kaushal is known for his witty, relatable comic videos. He is now making waves in the fashion industry with his eco-conscious approach.

Other notable winners include Priyasha Saluja, a 30-year-old self-taught plant-based chef from Delhi NCR and founder of The Cinnamon Kitchen. Saluja’s brand offers gluten-free, preservative-free, and refined sugar-free options, trailblazing India’s plant-based food sector.

Karishma Kewalramani, a 29-year-old Mumbai resident and founder of FAE Beauty, was also honoured for her cruelty-free, vegan cosmetics brand. Jaideep Prajapati, another Mumbai-based winner, founded RIJAC, a luxury brand known for its stylish, sophisticated, and cruelty-free handbags.

Mumbai’s Kaushik Vardan, founder of Recore India, was recognised for his plant-based leather company, dedicated to creating high-quality, animal-free materials.

"We’re recognising these trailblazing entrepreneurs for their compassionate contributions and hope their success sparks a movement among young innovators to prioritise ethical, animal-friendly business models,” said Ashima Kukreja, PETA India’s Chief Corporate Liaison. These young leaders are setting a powerful example of how businesses can thrive while remaining aligned with values of compassion and sustainability.
