The Department of Urology, PGIMER, hosted the PGI Androcon and third alumni meet under the chairmanship of Prof Uttam K Mete, head of the Department of Urology. Dr Aditya Prakash Sharma, associate professor in the Department of Urology, was the organising secretary of the conference.

The live operative workshop was attended by over 220 participants, including faculty and delegates from all over India and even abroad. It covered live operative workshop on procedures in andrology and focused on surgically correctible causes affecting men’s health such as erectile dysfunction and male infertility.

Prof Vivek Lal, Director, PGIMER, along with Dr SK Sharma, ex-HoD, Urology, and Director, PGIMER, and Dr Lalit Shah, president of Urology Society of India, also attended the event. The second day was dedicated to out-of-the-box lectures such as medico-legal aspects of andrological surgeries, the future of healthcare and Ayushman Bharat scheme and work-life balance for doctors. It was followed by the alumni meet of the urologists.
