Chief guest Satnam Singh Sandhu, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, addressed the gathering and lauded PHDCCI’s efforts in promoting entrepreneurship, fostering industry growth and enhancing Chandigarh’s global image as an architectural hub.
Highlighting Punjab’s pivotal role in realising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India), Sandhu said, “This country will become self-reliant only when Punjab is fully developed. Punjab has the potential to lead the nation.” He urged entrepreneurs to promote indigenous products.
Madhusudan Vij, Chair, Chandigarh Chapter, PHDCCI, informed that over three days, multiple seminars were held on emerging technologies, sustainable construction practices and green energy.
Dr Ranjit Mehta, CEO and Secretary General, PHDCCI, highlighted that PHDCCI, a 120-year-old institution with branches in 30 states, has been serving as a bridge between the government and industry.
Bharti Sood, Senior Regional Director, PHDCCI, talked about the aim behind organising the Archspire, an initiative designed to nurture the imagination, creativity and design-thinking capabilities of young architecture students.
